The 2024/2025 season is over.

There were moments of brightness, intoxicating passion, vivid emotion, stories, reflections, new encounters - all inspired by the magical world of music.

In July, the Estonian Sinfonietta will have the pleasure of play again under baton of conductor Anna-Maria Helsing in Mariehamn for a musical production Katrina, written by Åland-born composer Jack Mattsson, named after the novel by Åland-born writer Sally Salminen, three-time Nobel Prize for Literature nominee. A smash hit, with four performances in the summer of 2024 to a full house and three more to come this summer.
In August, the Estonian Sinfonietta will play at a brand new music festival, the Narva-Jõesuu Feestival “Lighthouse”.

Estonian Sinfonietta will open the new season in early October with a tribute to Arvo Pärt.
The concerts, which will also include the world premiere of Riho Esko Maimet's “Soliloquy”, will take place in Laulasmaa and at the Lisztfest 2025 festival in Budapest.

Estonian Sinfonietta's end-of-year concert “Four Seasons” can be heard in three cities this year - on 27 December 27th at the Tallinn Philharmonic's Blackheads' House, on December 29th at the Cologne Philharmonic's Great Hall and on January 3rd 2026 in Narva-Jõesuu. The concerts will be conducted by Maria Seletskaya, with Anna-Liisa Bezrodny as soloist.
In addition to works by Antonio Vivaldi, the orchestra will also perform works by George Frideric Handel, Jacques Danican Philidor and Jean-Joseph Mouret. Estonian music will be represented by Johann Valentin Meder's magnificent Chaconne.

But let's start at the beginning.
